
Jonathan Kure, mni, fst+ (DDG/RTD)
Mr. Jonathan Kure is a seasoned national security expert and retired Deputy Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), bringing over 35 years of distinguished service in intelligence and national security.
He is a Member of the National Institute (mni), a Fellow of the Security Institute (fsi), and a Fellow of the Society for Peace Studies and Practice (fspsp).
Mr. Kure has held several key leadership roles, including State Director of Security in Ondo and Benue States, Chief Security Officer to the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), and Directing Staff at the National Institute for Security Studies. He also served as Senior Personal Assistant to the President and was involved in multiple presidential panels, most notably the Halliburton Investigation.
He has represented Nigeria in high-level security engagements across Africa, Europe, and Asia.
